Lanpro Services adopted Gekko as their email management software solution in 2018 to streamline their email management.
Lanpro Services is a leading independent planning, design and environmental consultancy (multi-disciplinary), they pride themselves on delivering positive solutions for the built environment, communities and for the energy and infrastructure sectors through collaboration, strong relationships and technical excellence.
Gekko is a cloud-based email management solution which allows users to access all project emails in one place and sorts all emails automatically into the relevant project folder. The simple yet powerful search functionality makes it effortless to find even the most obscure email in any size project. Therefore, our clients’ can communicate and understand their customer’s needs better. 

We caught up with Nick Clarke, Project Accountant for Lanpro to understand how they found Gekko and integrated it into the day-to-day operation. 

Nick comments: “Gekko helps us understand the requirements of the clients better. With Gekko, clients' requirements don’t get lost in translation.” 

With Gekko, project folders are visible across the team helping to enhance communication and cooperation. Our client found Gekko to be a shorter process to file emails, taking the pains away from email management. 

Another important feature of Gekko for Lanpro is that it integrates with Rapport3, our project costing software well. This integration provides a convenient way to track project updates and budgets in one place and makes it easy to switch between the two platforms without leaving your current screen. 
Nick added: “Each project has a Gekko button at the top. It’s quick and easy to understand last updates. Switching to corresponding projects is very straightforward and simple. It’s very easy to go to the projects in Rapport3. We can flip from work stages on Rapport3 to Gekko Mail to understand where those budgets are coming from. It is very easy to stay in one screen and save time.”

Nick commented: “Since adopting Gekko, we stopped saving our emails to our file structure. That gave us significant time efficiencies and also allowed us to save on storage costs."

After the Covid-19 pandemic, working from home has become more common. This has created some issues within the AEC industry. Working collaboratively can get more time consuming when the employees work from home. However, Gekko makes collaborative work increasingly streamlined and effortless.
