Having previously used the Rapport3 Email System (Gekko’s predecessor), Clancy Consulting started using Gekko as soon as it came out. They immediately saw huge improvements to the system and embraced the multiple new features.

Due to the large attachments that are consistently sent over to a multitude of clients for a number of projects, Clancy Consulting needed storage facilities larger than any other Gekko client at the time. Our team therefore spent some time looking at re-configuring Gekko to ensure it could support such large amounts of data in an efficient manner. One big positive to this update was the fact that Gekko users only pay for the storage they use, and Gekko will always display how much storage is being utilised. 
Transparency is a key aspect of how Gekko and the team work, ensuring all clients know exactly what the system provides and giving them insights into how to use Gekko features even more efficiently. Email Tagging has been a particularly useful feature for Clancy Consulting, as they are often working on multiple projects with various external organisations and clients. 
“Email tagging really improved how we work. It was a different methodology that our team had to get use to, but it has really helped to make our processes more efficient. Everything we do is project based, so being prompted to immediately tag emails to specific project folders has saved a lot of time and improved organisation. 

We asked the Gekko Support Team if it would be possible to have multiple project tagging - where one email can be tagged to multiple projects. Gekko was reconfigured to include our requested feature and is really useful if we are working with one architect on a number of unrelated projects for example”
If Gekko clients have any specific requests to add to the software, our team are always very obliging; if one client would like a feature added, then it is likely other Gekko clients would find that feature useful too. Therefore Gekko Email Management is constantly being updated for all our clients to even further increase efficiency, ease and communication. 

As an Engineering Consultancy Firm, Clancy are in discussion with not only their clients, but their clients’ architecture teams, external surveyors, engineers, solicitors and other external experts. The comprehensive search feature that Gekko offers means that finding even the most obscure email from one of these contacts is made easy. It is often essential that Clancy Consulting can prove that external parties were involved in a certain project’s development, particularly if problems or miscommunications arise. For the purposes of legal discovery, Gekko ensures no email is left unturned.
